Прочитайте текст и выполните задание. Water is considered to be the most important raw material оf civilization. People cannot live and industry cannot operate without water. Rivers, seas and lakes are becoming very polluted now. This pollution comes from many sources: plants, factories, power stations, city waste discharges, etc. Ships pollute seas and rivers with oil products. Pesticides in agriculture and bacteria in municipal waste waters are often responsible for water contamination. Scientists suppose water pollution to be dangerous not only for people, but also for animals, birds, fish, etc. That is why the fauna of many rivers and lakes is seriously damaged. Nowadays there are many water specialists who control the level of water pollution and do their best to keep our water sources clean. Tasks 1.
