  Reading is very important in our life. We can read magazines, newspapers. The most interesting activity is reading books on various subjects(classics, detectives, adventures, fiction).

   There is a great number of famous writers who created wonderful manuscripts and their works are still popular all over the world.

  We can borrow books on history, fine arts, medicine, fantasy, politics, religion at the library.

  Books can tell us about lives of famous people, politics, ancient times, teenagers’ problems, latest discoveries.

   Books help us to expand outlook, escape from everyday life problems. It is a perfect way to entertain oneself, not to feel bored.

  As for me I can’t say that I prefer a definite style in literature. I read detective stories by Augutha Christy and by modern writers such as Polina Dashkova, historic books by William Shakespeare such as “Hamlet”, “Othello”,”King Lear”.

   

  Recently I’ve read “Jane Eyre”by Sharlotte Bronte

   

  Recently I’ve read “Gone with the wind” by Margaret Mitchell. The line of the novel occupies the main periods of the war and reconstruction of Jorgia.

  Scarlet O’Hara is the main hero of the novel. By  persistence, women’s charms, deception, intrigues and blackmail she restores the estate, destroyed by the war and becomes a businesswoman.

   A big part of the novel is devoted to Ret Batler, a handsome, but cynical man. The author of the book describes the old a new South, slave-holders losing their power. She uses adventure elements, hazardous devices.

  I think the book is worth reading, it has no age limit. It is popular among readers and I know there is a screen version of this book.

  Books play a very important part in our life.books are a source of information.they collect experience of many generations.books teach us and give advice.they inform us about people,nature,animals,politics,sport at theatre.they help us to discover smth interesting, expand our outlook more then that it’s a perfect way to relax and spend free time wisely.different people like to read different kinds of books.it depends on taste and character.some people prefer detectives story and science fiction,other like historical books,women like love story or detective story.from books you can learn more about peoples life and fellings.you can buy books or go to the library where we can choose the book we need.the librarian is always ready to help you to find the book. I prefer reading love story or detective story but its often I read books from school program.to sum up I can say that a book is one of the greatest wonders of the world.thaks to books we can talk to people who lived in different ages and countries.
