The Taj Mahal Palace is a huge mausoleum, beautiful and airy despite its size. The ruler of India Shah Jahan ordered its construction to perpetuate the love of his dead wife. The construction of this great mausoleum lasted more than 20 years. What is interesting for tourists: The Taj Mahal Palace is located opposite the famous arch-Gate to India. It was erected in memory of one of the wives of Emperor Shah Jahan-Mumtaz Mahal. She was his most beloved wife and wise adviser, and when she died, the Emperor, after two years of mourning, conceived the idea of building a memorial tomb for her. For the construction of the Palace was imported white marble, precious stones, invited masters from Europe. The time of construction is called about 1633-1652 years, and consider the Palace the best example of Mongolian architecture. The Palace has five domes 74 meters in height, there are four minarets. There are two tombs-the Emperor and his wife. Truly, the Taj Mahal is a masterpiece. Considering its architectural value, it makes you wonder about the high values.
